3D Flash Games! AWAY3D.com

Hi Dudes and Dudettes,

It's been a million years since you heard from me, but I'm back!

I finally got a chance to make a small (short, one level) 3D game called 3D Sugar Glider, check it out!

3D Flash Games have hit NG finally, thanks to the amazing new 3D GAME ENGINE called AWAY3D.

I was able to make the whole game with just Flash Actionscript 3.0 and the engine that can be downloaded from AWAY3D.com

I'm hoping to have a few new games soon, so look out for more 3D flash from me.

I am super excited to be back in Newgrounds with something NEW to offer.

As well, I just happen to be one the AWAY3D Team!

Down with 3D! Thanks to games like Alien Hominid, Castle Crashers, N+ and Bionic Commando ReArmed things are coming back.

Still, I'm really impressed.

And not down with 3d - why?

Because you can still make 2D games with it- it just helps with the Zsort!

Check out Dizzywood.com. Totally away3d, and still totally 2d Flash.

You CAN have the best of both worlds.

Whoa, looks like you can do awesome stuff with it. Pretty impressive. I'd love to make a super cool cartoony 3D game in flash someday. Does it work with Flash 8 and AS 2 as well?

It's AS3.0,

AS 2.0 can not really handle all the math needed. But if you really want to force 3D on AS2.0, PM me.

Also we will have a TOON shader very soon! So get started on that game now! :p

i thought AS3 was capable of a more advanced version of mode 7. simple, but not mind-blowing for the platform.

seeing all the demos on that site totally changed all that. it ran amazingly on my machine (admittedly, though, i do have a high-end one :P) and it looked amazing.

my problem with 3d is that, rather than artistic talent, you go for "ooh look, shiny!" as if it's never been done before. sure, it's never been done before in FLASH, but why would i look for an inferior 3d flash game when i could find a much better 3d retail game. like, i dunno, Crysis. you don't see 2d games like Alien Hominid in retail very often, so one can appreciate it more as a 2d platform than a 3d one.

Hey,i have some ideas for characters for your next bloody rage game.

Here they are:Jade(mk),Kitana(mk),Sonic,Shadow,
Mario,Luigi,Zero suit Samus,Ike,Marth,Toon Link,Zack Fair(crisis core:ffvii),Naruto,Ichigo Kurosaki,Zangetsu,Mewtwo,Rukia Kuchiki,A random black cat,King aurthur,Ed elric,Al elric,lust(FMA),Envy(FMA) and Greed(FMA)
